Boogie Wipes Giveaway

Being in daycare the first year of his life wreaked havoc on my poor little monkey's immune system.  I felt like we were constantly fighting colds or coughs and then when the teeth came in, his poor little nose would run like a faucet.  Of course he wanted nothing to do with me wiping his raw mini nose.  Luckily my mom came across these handy little Boogie Wipes to help soothe my son's sore, runny nose.  They came in three different scents - grape, fresh and unscented and were packaged in this handy little container of 30 wipes that let you grab one easily and quickly.  I'm not joking when I say we probably went through about ten of these packages his first 3 months in daycare.

Now that he's older and his immune system has started to get used to the germs, the runny nose and cough have been somewhat contained.  However, the month he hit a year old, those molar and vampire teeth (you know, the pointy side teeth) decided to show up all within a few weeks of each other.  I don't care what the doctor says but he ALWAYS gets a fever, diaper rash and of course, a serious runny nose.  This time when I ran out to grab my Boogie Wipes, I found them in this super handy 90 count container at Target -- hooray!  Triple the wipes was great news to me and my monkey's runny nose.  Plus I found a new scent - menthol, which is helpful to ease the ouchie nose when blowing is continuous.

But it's not only my son's nose that takes hits during cold and flu season.  As a teacher I am constantly dealing with the blows and sniffles of kiddos all day long.  One thing I can not handle are boogers - especially when they aren't in a contained Kleenex where they belong! (I am gagging as I write this.).  However, don't fret teachers - Boogie Wipes offers Teacher kits for your classes!  You get 2 of the 90 count canisters along with samples and coupons to pass out to your students.  Check out how to get these for your classroom here.  But also check out their Save the Sleeve program that encourages kids to use these wipes rather than the sleeve or other places.  It's a fun indoor recess "game" you can pull up for your kids occasionally!

If you're like me, you like to use the Boogie Wipes for yourself when you have the occasional runny nose.  Luckily, a new product has been introduced, Saline Savers, which are wipes that are suitable for the more "mature" noses.  I feel a little bit more at ease whipping one of these out to wipe my nose now rather than being "that mom" who uses all of her kid's products on herself.

I can not explain how helpful these wipes have been with my son and his poor little nose, especially during his rough patch of illnesses.  Now I have to hide the Boogie Wipe packs because he'll try to take them out and blow his nose on as many as he can get his hands on.  And yes, I have to admit, it is a cute little trick.

See Mom! I can blow my nose myself!
(Please don't judge the hair - he get gets it cut tomorrow, promise.)

  4. We use these all of the time. I'm so glad they come in a big canister now. I have a boogery baby and a husband with severe allergies to everything, and Boogie Wipes are just more refreshing than regular tissue. :)
