Enjoy Yourself a Cup of Eight O'Clock Coffee or Tetley Tea

Monday, February 25, 2013

If you have followed my blog for awhile, you know that I have a serious love for coffee.
I'm not sure if you want to be around me until I've had my morning java.
But I'm also a huge fan of tea too - especially iced green tea with a splash of lemonade, especially in the summer.

When I had the opportunity to try Eight O'Clock K-Cups AND Tetley Tea, I knew I had to jump right on it!

I have to say that the Eight O'Clock Coffee K-cups were amazing.  I could have made 12 cups of the Hazelnut everyday.  Actually, I hid all the Hazelnut K-Cups from my husband because I knew he'd want to try them.  But the flavor was strong yet the perfect blend to get you moving in the morning.  The convenience of popping the K-cup into my machine before I walked out of the door makes my mornings so much less stressful as well!

Since my husband and I have a huge sweet tooth, I'm always looking for yummy, new dessert recipes to try out.  What's better than combing coffee AND chocolate?  How about topping it off with a cherry?
I simply jazzed up my Eight O'Clock coffee with this sweet indulgent recipe!

Chocolate Cherry Eight O’Clock Coffee

Ingredients
1 rounded tbsp Eight O’Clock Coffee Original or Colombian Coffee per 6 oz cup (for brewing) OR
1 Eight O’Clock Coffee Original or Colombian Keurig® K-cup pack
2 chocolate covered cherry candies (such as Cella’s)
Whipped cream and maraschino cherry (optional)

Preparation

Place the chocolate covered cherry candies at the bottom of the mug.
Pour freshly brewed coffee from pot over candies, or, if using a Keurig® brewer, brew coffee over candies, and stir until chocolate has melted.
Cream or milk is optional as this gets sweet and creamy all on its own.
Top with whipped cream and a cherry for an added touch.

Can we say delish?  This recipe would be the perfect sweet treat after dinner or even served as an afternoon delight!  I can't wait to try it out again with my girlfriends in a few weeks.

But nothing is more relaxing than spending my evenings in front of the fire with my computer, reality T.V. and a hot cup of tea.  I've always seen Tetley's variety of teas in the stores but never had a chance to try it out.  Lately the weather has been brutally cold and I'm just a morning coffee drinker yet I was craving a warm beverage for my evening chill.  Tetley's British Blend serious hit the spot!  The tea was rich in flavor and I loved the stringless tea bags because you could tell that more flavor was left in your cup.

I'm also in love with Tetley's "Turn Over A New Leaf" campaign.   We all make New Year's resolutions that focus on feeling better about ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally and sometimes even spiritually.  Tetley's "Turn Over a New Leaf" campaign was launched to provide inspiration and support for physical and emotional health in this new year.  This campaign is featured on Tetley's Facebook page and fans can ask questions and chat live with real life coaches and experts.   Daily "Tetley Time" shares thoughts on wellness and even gives fans the chance to win Amazon gift cards!

Whether it's a morning cup of coffee or a calm mug of tea, Eight O'Clock Coffee or Tetley Tea are sure to warm up your life with their quality beverages.
