Mommy Mondays - Recipe Rescue

Long time since I last did one of these posts!
Oh life you tricky little devil...

Things have been super busy lately but I've been making a conscience effort to cook dinner at least five days out of the week.  So I needed a few quick recipes that I knew my family would eat.  My friend and coworker shared this amazeballs little Hot Ham and Cheese sandwich recipe that you bake in the oven.  I decided to make it Sunday afternoon for the family.  Well, I couldn't find the dandy recipe so I made up my own...and it turned out delish!

Baked Mini Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

You Need:
--Little buns - I used a 12 ct of the slider buns from Kroger but you could also use those little Hawaiian rolls too
--Cheese Slices
--Ham Slices
--Butter

How to Make these Yummy Lil Sammywiches:
1.  Preheat over to 375 degrees.

2.  Butter both sides of the buns - top and bottom and place into a baking dish.

3.  Top the buns with one slice of ham and one half slice of cheese.  Place the top piece of the bun on top.

4.  Cover the pan with foil and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

5.  Serve and enjoy!

These little guys make perfect party sandwiches too for events like baby showers or birthday parties.  This is a super easy recipe for those nights when you don't have a lot of time but need to get dinner on the table!

My family loved them and my husband even took leftovers to work for lunch -- that my friends is a rare occasion!

Enjoy! :)

Happy Cooking! :)
