Here Comes the Bride with Minted

Monday, May 27, 2013

Okay even though I've been married for almost five years now I still think back on my day and make mental changes of woulda, coulda, shouldas.  Yes, our day was perfect and beautiful and we had an amazing time.  But because of my celebrity obsession (including my mild one with Kate Middleton) I love to think of how I could have incorporated some of these little things into my own wedding had I seen it before.  Planning a wedding was stressful but planning a wedding that happened in another city was even harder!  One thing I would change if I could would definitely have been my wedding invitations.  I liked my invites, but honestly, this was one task that I didn't take time to really look at...and let my mom choose for me.  Now don't get me wrong, they were pretty but just not my style.

Recently I came across a great new website called Minted.  Minted offers a variety of products -- including wedding invitations!  I have had a blast just browsing and daydreaming once more about which invitations I would use for our wedding.  Right now my current obsessions are the color mint and polka dots.  I know, cheesy, but if done in a classy manner it is perfection!  I found this inspiration board on Minted that paired these trends with a classy and elegant invitation.

I love the writing on these invites!  Bold yet not overbearing -- it really draws your eyes to the important information rather than the fluffy, fancy stuff that I, unfortunately, had on my own invitations.  Plus I can create a vision in my own head of how I would have used these colors in my own wedding and how the invitation would have fit in just the right way   This was one of my favorite invites but honestly it was so hard to choose from the selection that Minted offers.

Minted makes the painful process of creating invitations less stressful for everyone -- and the prices are affordable so you won't go over that wedding budget.  With the variety of patterns, prints and styles that Minted has to offer everyone will surely find their perfect wedding invitation to go along with their perfect day.

I was not compensated for this review other than a product sample from Minted. All opinions are 100% mine.

  4. Unfortunately, I doubt they could help me resolve the thing I would have changed about my wedding - my hair. IT WAS HORRIBLE! Oh well.

Now, happily married with 2 kids, I could use some cute mommy cards... their business cards are beautiful and could easily be used for that purpose.

  6. That invitation is beautiful. You can never go wrong with black and white and the touch of pale green just adds to it.

  12. Those are gorgeous invitations. I had pretty standard, traditional invitations, they had a gold claddagh on the top and I think the writing was in pine green. It was in the 90s and I seem to forget a lot of stuff these days!

  13. Very nice, it is so easy to get personalized stationary now! When I got married we had a lot less to choose from.

  14. My husband and I didn't have invitations - it was a phone call! :D

But my sister got married last Feb., and we ordered her invites from Minted.com. They were GORGEOUS!

    Minted.com is DEFINITELY a site I'd recommend!
