Project 52 - Week 5

*A photograph of each of my children, once a week in 2015*

Cohen
This boy has such an adventurous spirit.  I'm sure his athletic ability and eagerness to enjoy the outdoors will continue to thrill his dad for years to come.  I literally had to drag him inside after a sled ride, helping dad shovel the driveway and making a snowman, which he named "Judy the Snowman."  While I struggle to keep him busy on these winter days, I was thrilled that it was "warm enough" to finally let him play outside and truly enjoy a real snow.

Lola
The initial preparation for our sled ride around the neighborhood almost set this kid over the edge.  After Kurtis bundled her up I immediately thought of Randy from A Christmas Story - "I can't put my arms down!"  Lola refused to move in her boots and snowsuit, making the entire process even more comical.  But once she was in that sled she loved every second of it!

  2. Great pics! Glad they got to enjoy the snow! No snow here yet, but it's been sooooo cold. So even though I hate snow, I wish we would get enough snow (without losing power) to keep us snowed in for about 3 days. Then I'd be good for a couple of years. :) Besides, I would love 3 days of not having to run all over the place and just enjoy being home.

  4. Nice that you're able to keep them entertained. You're also brave to hang out in the snow as all I'd want to do was stay inside and keep warm.

  5. So adorable! I am still jealous. We have no snow here in Oregon and it is getting a little sad. This is such a fun project you are working on.

  7. It looked like you had a blast in the snow. We get to play in it so rarely that I know my kids would be the ones dragging me out the door.

  13. Funny how we have to drag them out there sometimes, then they realize it's fun!

  15. Little kids and snow is so fun - especially when the snow is so deep and they can barely get around! We haven't had very much snow at all this winter, I feel bed because my daughter loves to play in it!

  18. VERY CUTE kids! I think it's great that you take a pic every week of your kids. It's really great to have a look back as they grow up.
