*A photograph of each of my children, once a week in 2015*

Oh this one.  How he has been so good at pushing my buttons lately that every night I have silently said a prayer asking for more patience with him.  This week though I have been given a few reminders that he is in fact only 4, which has helped me cherish this time even more.  On Monday during a family walk we passed a huge bunny that had been turned into some serious roadkill.  Cohen was riding his bike behind us with Sophie, so Kurtis and I turned around to watch his reaction.  He saw the roadkill, jumped off his bike and stood there staring at it with wide eyes, both hands covering his mouth.  After about a solid minute of staring I hear, "Mom! A dead little horse!  There's a dead little horse in the road!"  After reassuring it was in fact just a rabbit, we also made it a good lesson as to why we look both ways before crossing the road.

My tan little blondie here - check out those tan lines!  Monday was a beautiful day and we spent it splashing away at the water park.  But once again the rain and gloom returned by Tuesday so we have had to improvise some of our indoor activities because unfortunately this summer has been spent inside way too much due to inclement weather.  Lola's new favorite activity is pushing a kitchen chair up to the sink and playing in the water.  Quite honestly I don't even mind because it keeps her busy for a good 15 minutes.  The floor needed a good mopping anyways.
