I have spent the last three weeks adjusting to my new role as a mom of three littles.  I knew it would be hard, but it still hit me like a ton of bricks.  I will be the first to say motherhood is one of the best jobs, if not THE best job in the whole world.  However, adjusting to a new schedule and routine is always rough, especially when you had one that worked so well.  I find myself waking up exhausted but still wishing there was just one or two more hours in the day that would allow me to get the laundry done or the bathrooms clean.
Wishful thinking, right?

Recently our area opened an amazing new grocery store called Market District.  Attached to this store is a fabulous gas station and convenience store with literally all the bells and whistles called GetGo.  On the way home from dropping Cohen off at school last week, my gas light went on so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try out GetGo since I had just two littles rather than three.  First of all, this fuel station surpassed my wildest expectations!  There were sixteen pumps so there was no waiting, which is super important to a mom with impatient children.

After filling up my tank quickly and effortlessly, I decided to brave GetGo's market aisles to grab Lola and myself some lunch for the day as well as something quick for dinner since Kurtis was working late.  Can I say holy amazing?!?  GetGo had a HUGE variety of food and drink options.  From fresh cut veggies and fruit to a Smoothie and Espresso Bar with drinks made ready to go, I was amazed at the delicious choices that were available for me to basically just choose and go.  With a sleeping baby in tow, we had a few moments to kill so we took our time browsing the the store and picking out our lunch.  I was able to grab a salad for myself (even though the customizable subs and beef burgers were tempting) and some mozzarella sticks for Lola.  I even treated myself to a lunchtime ice cold soda.

One feature that I thought was really unique was the touch screen ordering.  Basically you use the touch screen to order your sandwich and food.  Then, it is made right there and they will call your name when it's ready to go.  After seeing someone order a veggie sub, I totally wanted to get one for myself.  We were also short on milk and bread for the kids so it was nice to be able to grab some basic grocery staples at GetGo without having to drag my family back into the store. I may have also stocked up on a few other goodies to get us through the day.

Another great feature of GetGo is the fact that they are open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.  This is super exciting for me since GetGo is on my way to work!  I can't wait to be able to grab a hot latte and made-fresh-to-order breakfast sandwich.  I love being able to have little pick-me-up treats to look forward to when they are that convenient to use!

Cohen and Lola thoroughly enjoyed their dinner choices as you can see.  The convenience of GetGo is perfect for busy lifestyles and when you're looking for fresh and tasty food options that are made ready to go.  The fact that I can get gas, basic grocery staples and a fresh meal for my family all in one stop is my kind of service.

While adjusting to life with three littles is still, well, an adjustment, it's these little conveniences that help with the chaos.
