*A photograph of each of my children, once a week in 2016*

We had our first full week of summer break and I let him go with the flow.  My plan is to have daily responsibilities and continue to practice a few things for school so he doesn't lose what he worked so hard to learn this year.  Don't worry though - there will be plenty of time spent at the pool, splash pad and on play dates too!

This sweet face has successfully worn big girl undies for over a week now.  While we pretty much have the pee-pee down, the pooping is another story but I'm not too worried about that one yet.  Cohen picked out a set of Peppa Pig undies for her at Target and you would have thought he was giving her an ice cream sundae by her reaction.  Priceless.

After weeks upon weeks of horrible sleeping, I took her back to the doctor after a night where she did nothing but scream a horrible, blood curdling cry.  Good thing because that double ear infection was still there so we are on round #2 of antibiotics.  I'm just crossing my fingers that we can finally get onto some kind of schedule because seriously people, I know I say this a lot, but I don't think I have been this tired EVER.

  1. I do the same thing - some workbooks over the summer to keep on track, and also time for fun. Great for your daughter learning to potty train! I hope your little one feels better soon so you can all get some much needed sleep.
