Disclosure: The Babiators information, product and additional gift pack have been provided by Babiators.
If you aren't aware already, I have a little diva on my hands.  Miss Thing Lola Colleen is all sass and a bag of chips.  Every morning she picks out her favorite princess underwear along with the day's dress.  Her recent obsession of pockets has become my favorite because I love watching her walk along with her cute little hands tucked away as she goes about her business.  It's fun for me to see her create her own sense of style because I have to be honest, Cohen couldn't care less.

Besides her obsession with dresses, Lola has become a girl after my own heart and loves her some accessories.  My favorite is when I see her with a baby under one arm, her pink purse around her wrist and her little yellow cell phone pressed up against her ear.  Don't be surprised if you see her on The Real Housewives one day - you heard it here first.  Lola also loves her hair in "bun buns" and has become quite a fan of my sunglasses.  Now I totally wouldn't have a problem with this if she hadn't completely stretched out my last pair of favorite sunnies.  Each time I pried those sunglasses from her fashionista fingers it was as if the world had just sold out of Frozen purses.  It was time I found my Lola Girl her first pair of sunglasses because let's be real, I will do anything to avoid these trantrums and keep my sunglasses in one piece.

While Lola has had sunglasses before, none of them fit her petite little face very well.  I had recently seen a few pictures of my favorite celebrity moms and some of their kids were fitted in these precious little sunglasses called Babiators.  As I looked into these shades I learned that these adorable aviator sunglasses had rubber frames with impact and shatter resistance lenses.  So you know when your kid twists, bends or even steps on them?  Yeah, they won't break.  I'm serious.  I was sold right then.  These UV400 lenses also offer 100% UVA and UVB protection of your little one's eyes which is super important because apparently children are more susceptible to sun damage because they have larger pupils and clearer lenses.  And get this - Babiators are backed by the Lost & Found Guarantee(tm).  If you lose or break your shades in the first year, Babiators will replace them for free and all you pay is shipping.
Seriously people.  I can't make this up.

Another great feature about these sunglasses is that they are offered in two sizes - Junior (0-3 years) and Classic (3-7 years).  Babiators are lightweight and made of soft material.  Plus they are designed to fit kids' faces so they won't pinch the temples or nose.  We all know how comfort is super important to these kiddos!

But not only is comfort important, but it is even more important to keep your little one's eyes safe from the sun is too!  Did you know did you know UV damage is cumulative and irreversible?  Also, kids receive three times more annual UV exposure than adults yet less than 30% of parents are currently protecting their children's eyes with sunglasses.  So when choosing sunglasses for your child make sure the frames are durable, the glasses offer 100% UVA/UVB protection and are a comfortable fit.  Trust me - Babiators has your covered for all of these!
(Check out The Vision Council's UV Damage and Children Report and The Vision Council's 2015 UV Protection Report and The Vision Council's 2016 UV Protection Report for more information on sun safety.)

Lola won't leave the house with out her "gwasses" these days and secretly I love the smiles that strangers give her while we are out and about on our daily errands.  I love that she is her own person.  You know that song, "Whatever Lola wants.  Lola gets."  That is her theme song for sure.
